Hello friends and family! Things have changed once again and as I continue to grow and evolve so does the way I offer my work and services…

I have discontinued the Life Coach certification program but it is still available to currently enrolled students.

I am now offering all of my teachings for free and have lowered the cost of my sessions from $120. per hour to only $60. per hour.

I’ve created a new online course that you can enjoy free of charge and as I begin to step away for the old paradigm and incorporate the new way of being in service, I realize how much more simple things can be.

This is not a certification course as I believe it is not necessary to have when offering one’s personal medicine.

I still have a long way to go but for now… moving forward one step at a time.

Online Life Coach Certification Exercise Twenty One Day Manifestation Mantra

This coaching exercise can help us begin to attract what we do want into our lives by showing us how to speak in more positive terms. Also, it can remind us on a daily basis to take actions to be better in alignment with what we do want. This exercise teaches us how gratitude plays a huge role in attracting what we want. When we are grateful for what we have, we attract more of what we want. We will also look at the law of least effort and of releasing attachment. Experts say that it takes 21 days to form or break a habit.

For those seeking material abundance, this exercise can also help…

In life, we tend to get exactly what we need exactly in the moment we need it. There is a sequence of events and a divine process that we must experience and understand before we can allow material abundance into our lives. When we learn to open our hearts to love, appreciation and gratitude, we will then step into the flow of material abundance that is awaiting us.

I will put the Law of Least Effort into effect by making a commitment to take the following steps:

  1. I will practice acceptance. Today I will accept people, situations, circumstances, and events as they occur. I will know that this moment is as it should be, because the whole universe is as it should be. I will not struggle against the whole of the universe by fighting against this moment. My acceptance is total and complete. I accept things as they are this moment, not as I wish they were.
  2. Having accepted things as they are, I will take responsibility for my situation and for all those events that I see as problems. I know that taking responsibility means not blaming anyone or anything for my situation (and this includes myself.) I also know that every problem is an opportunity in disguise, and with this alertness to opportunities, I will allow myself to take this moment to transform it into a greater benefit.
  3. Today my awareness will remain established in defenselessness. I will relinquish the need to defend my point of view. I will feel no need to defend my point of view. I will feel no need to convince or persuade others to accept my point of view. I will remain open to all points of view and will not be rigidly attached to any one of them. – Deepak Chopra

San Kalpa (sahn KAL-pah) is an ancient Sanskrit sutra that means “My intentions have infinite organizing power.” When you enter a meditative state and repeat this sutra, you strengthen the power of your intentions. Here is how to use it:

Spend a few minutes in meditation, allowing your mind to settle. Now imagine that the entire universe is a vast ocean of consciousness and that your intentions are emerging from your heart, rippling out into the ocean, where they are fulfilled with effortless ease. Then speak silently to yourself, “San Kalpa.”

For every intention, whether for healing, a new relationship, wealth, or opportunity, envision the desired outcome in your mind and repeat the sutra, letting it resonate deeper and deeper within you.

Preparation: Have paper ready to do the exercise.

One Minute Meditation: Take a moment to relax, take a few deep breaths and center yourself.

Begin the Session: Complete the steps in the 21 Day Manifestation Mantra.

Items you may want to use: Journal, Gratitude Stone

The “I Wants’: Make a list of everything you want to do, be, or have. Example: I want to live in Hawaii. I want a loving relationship. I want to be wealthy and have a lot of money. If you think of something else later, it’s okay to add it to the list at any time.

Releasing the “I Wants”: Release the “I wants.” In order to release their wants, some may choose to crumble up the list and throw it away, while some choose to burn it. When we say, “I want,” what we are really saying is, “I don’t have.” If you are familiar with the law of attraction, then you know that the universe mirrors our thoughts, words and actions. What we think about, what we say, the feelings we have and the actions we take are equal to what we will attract.

Transforming the “I wants”: On a completely new piece of paper, transform each item into words of already having it. These will each be your mantras.

Example: I enjoy living in Hawaii. I have a loving relationship. I am wealthy and have a lot of money.

If that is too much for you then you could say, “I am going to live in Hawaii, “or “I can have a loving relationship” or “I am attracting wealth and money.”

1-10 Scale: On a scale of 1-10, rate where you are right now with each item on the list, 1 meaning you are far from where you want to be, and 10 meaning you are where you want to be. It is always a good idea to measure your progress anytime you start something new.

Gratitude: End your mantra with a statement of gratitude. This is a very important part of this process because gratitude is a key factor in attracting more of what you want. Each day, for the next 21 days, make sure to take a moment and feel gratitude for each thing that you already have.

Plan it: Schedule the 21 days into your calendar. You will find that if you really want to do something or go somewhere, you have to write it on your calendar. When you do this, you will start scheduling other events around it and will make it more possible to actually follow through on your goal. Set your intention and desire for what you want to get out of this exercise and let the universe handle the details.

The work: Read each mantra out loud to yourself every morning for the next 21 days. While doing this you may want to hold a gratitude stone or some sort of physical item that represents personally represents your gratitude.

Take a few minutes after reading each mantra to stop and visualize yourself as already having, being, or doing what you stated in your mantra. Remain in a place of gratitude throughout the day, accepting people, places, circumstances, and events exactly as they are.

*If you miss one day, you are encouraged to start the process over. It is important to do this for 21 days consecutive to experience your desired outcome.

Practice Non-Judgment: Let go of the habit of judging and evaluating people. Remember to also let go of judging places, circumstances, situations, and events as well. Everyone you encounter in life is doing the best that they can with the past conditioning they have had. Likewise, situations and things are exactly as they are because that is where the universe intended them to be at the present moment. Acknowledge that they are not good or bad, they simply are. All people, places, circumstances, things, etc. that are happening around you are happening because they are in line with their own paths. Each thing is a reaction to what they know. Everything that is happening right now is a result of what we have done in the past. Within every problem, there is an opportunity in disguise. Look for the positive in every moment.

Take the Right Action: Take action that supports, and is in alignment with your wants and desires. One of my favorite sayings is, “If you keep doing what you’ve always done, then you will keep getting what you’ve always got.” Use the E+R=O exercise, the event plus your response to the event equals the outcome. If you don’t like the outcome you are getting, then you have to change your response to the event.

Release Attachment: Release all attachment to your desired outcome. It’s okay if what you want doesn’t happen and it’s okay if it does happen. Remain open to new possibilities and look for opportunities throughout each day. Just know that whatever happens is in perfect alignment with your true purpose in life. If something that you really want doesn’t happen, then there is a reason for it, or perhaps it is just not the right time for it to happen yet. Remember, the more you act like you don’t have something, the more you push it away.

Journal: Journal each day to record your progress. Describe your experiences and events with detail.

Review: On the 22nd day review your notes, and measure where you are now with each item using the 1-10 scale. Celebrate your success! Do something nice for yourself today to show appreciation and gratitude.

After the 21st day, something in your awareness will have changed, you may have a realization of something, or circumstances may have changed. We usually get what we need before we get what we want. Most often, we have to grow through life’s experience before we are ready for what we desire most. In other words, we have to make space for the new circumstances by removing the old.

  1. State what you noticed them doing to you.
  2. Let them know how it makes you feel.
  3. Ask them why they are doing it.

In this way you are approaching the bully with concern instead of anger and you will be more likely to have a better outcome.

Anger is an expression of fear and will only create resistance.

Concern is a form of compassion and will help you be able to find resolution much faster.

Life Coach Training Exercise ~ Event Response Outcome

Enjoy this exercise from the “Life Coach and Soul Retrieval Specialist Certification.”

This exercise helps us understand why we keep experiencing the events we don’t want. It also shows us how to redirect our actions and responses to get the outcome we do want.

Preparation: Have your journal ready to take notes.

One Minute Meditation: Take a moment to relax, take a few deep breaths and center yourself.

Begin the Session: Begin by looking at the old response…

Think of an event in your life that keeps happening that makes you feel uncomfortable. Explain this event and describe what keeps happening that makes you feel uncomfortable. This could be something that you really want to change but feel like you have no idea how.

Event: Think of a person, place, situation or thing that makes you feel uncomfortable.

Response: Now ask yourself how you previously reacted or responded to the event. How could you have responded to the event differently?

Outcome: What was the outcome or result of the way you previously responded to the event?

Now let’s look at the new response…

New Response: How you will respond to the event now?

Remember, if you don’t like the outcome you previously got, then you have to change the way you respond to the event. If you change your response, you have to get a different outcome.

Desired Outcome: What do you expect the new outcome to be with your new response? What would you like the outcome to be? How could you respond to the event differently?

Focus the session: Take a moment to visualize the new outcome.

Action Plan: What one thing are you willing to commit to? When will you do it? Why will you do it?

Sedona Shamanic Journey Earth Lodge Fire Ceremony

The Shamanic Journey Earth Lodge Fire Ceremony is a guided imagery exercise. It can heal current issues by going into your body and communicating with it from a higher level.

Preparation: Have your journal ready. Create a quiet and safe atmosphere. Drum if you have one.

EARTH LODGE FIRE CEREMONY

Begin by getting into a relaxed position. Take a few slow deep breaths. Breathing in softly and slowly and then breathing out. As you exhale you will begin to feel more relaxed… Just focus all of your awareness on your breath. (pause here for a few moments)

Now, allow your thoughts and feelings to move toward the issue or problem that you are experiencing. It will usually be something that may be consuming all of your energy at the present time. This issue could be causing problems in several different areas of your life.

As you focus on the issue, identify whether it is a physical, emotional, or mental problem. Or is it all of them? Take a moment to visualize this problem.

Now that you are clear, aware, and focused… let’s prepare to enter the sacred earth lodge. You notice the sun just about to set on the horizon… Beautiful mountains in the distance… The air feels very comfortable and the earth is calm.

Now you look out into the distance and call upon a power animal to join you in the lodge today… As it arrives you begin to feel even safer and very grateful that they are excited to join you on this journey… Get a good look at them and thank them for being there.

Now, with your power animal, look at the earth lodge in front of you… it’s a small cozy space made up of nature… you see a small opening with the light from the fire flickering inside… behind the lodge you notice several human figures watching over you… these are your ancestors or spirit guides who have prepared the healing fire and the earth lodge for you… You look to them and thank them before you go inside.

You feel calm, relaxed, protected and grateful as you follow your power animal into the lodge… The inside seems much larger than it did from the outside… You notice the fire is in the very center so you and your power animal go around to the other side of the fire and make yourselves comfortable.

The fire does not seem too hot… this is a very special kind of fire… a magical one that was carefully made by your ancestors… This fire is safe to the touch and does not burn… There will be times during this journey that you will scoop up some of the fire in your hands use it for healing… Go ahead, play with it using your hands… See, it doesn’t burn.

Now take a moment to look into the fire… You can see the truth about your problem in the fire… Look at it… It will reveal to you everything you need to know about healing this problem… (pause here for a moment)

(now is a good time to drum for a while if you want, or continue…)

What did the fire reveal to you? What did you see? What is the truth about this problem and how can it be healed?

Now go to that place in your body where you have held onto this pain… Look at it… Thank it for revealing itself to you… Now ask what does it want you to know? What message does it have for you? (pause) Thank it for the message and for teaching you such a beautiful lesson. Now scoop up some of the healing fire and put it where the pain once was. It heals instantly and now you can see only beauty where this problem once was. You are healed.

Now continue through the rest of your body… Is there anywhere else you would like to go? Any other places you might be carrying pain and need healing? If so, scoop up some more of the healing flame and cover the pain with it… Ask it to reveal why it is there and what you must do. Remember to thank it for being there to teach you such a beautiful lesson.

(this is another good time to pause or drum for a while)

Now that you have explored and healed those parts of you, scoop up some more of the healing flame and wash it all over your body until you can feel every cell become clean, renewed and revitalized… back to its original… perfect… state.

You sit here for a moment and feel what it feels like to be completely healed from the past issues that you may have been carrying for so long… Feel the healing… Breathe it in… Let this new healing and sense of self, become your new belief… Your new way of life… The healed you… Just breathe.

Now you notice your power animal begin to get up and move toward the opening in the lodge… Somehow it just knew that you were complete and that it was time to go… So you follow it out.

You breathe in the fresh air and stretch your body… Looking around, you notice your ancestors moving from behind the lodge closer to you… They are very honored that you have come… they bow to you then turn and one by one they go into the lodge… You feel deep gratitude that they created all of this for you and watched over you while you were healing… As the last one goes in they pull the door closed behind them.

You turn and look to your power animal… They are still there with you and want to continue to walk with you on your journey… You gratefully accept and begin walking together toward your new path.

In a moment when you open your eyes, you will feel refreshed and you will easily able to remember everything… Three, bringing your awareness back into your body… Two, stretching and wiggling your fingers and toes… One, Open your eyes and remembering where you are.

Now before speaking and while the images are still fresh in your memory, begin to write or draw in your journal. Take as much time as you need.

Forgiveness Can Set You Free!

The Forgiveness exercise can help you realize who or what you may need to forgive so that you can move forward in life free from emotional pain and sadness. This exercise will teach you ultimately to have a clearer conscious and subconscious mind.

Forgiveness can be the most powerful tool to release you from any emotional pain that you may have been carrying. Sometimes emotional wounds from the past hold us back and we can’t break free of the feeling of hurt or loss. Even though we may not always feel it, these feelings still lie dormant in our cell memory. Eventually, the universe gives us an opportunity where feelings resurface. When this happens we can choose to ignore them or face them. If we try to ignore them and continue to suppress them, hoping they will just go away, they will always come back. When this happens, we can allow them to come back again as problems, or we can look at them coming back as another chance for forgiveness. If we face them head on, look them in the eyes and tell the truth to ourselves, then we have more of a chance to remove at least the feeling associated with old emotions. After that, we can let go and finally be free of the pain.

There are several powerful ways to forgive yourself and others. It is only when you choose to do this, that you will truly be free and be more open to receiving the abundance that is waiting for you.

Preparation:  Have your journal to take notes.

One Minute Meditation: Take a moment to relax, take a few deep breaths and center yourself.

Begin the Session: Begin by thinking about someone or something that happened to you recently or in the past that made you angry, frustrated, or upset. This could also be something you did or didn’t do. Now read each question below. Take your time answering them and take notes.

  1. Who or what made you upset?
  2. How did it make you feel?
  3. How would you want them to change?
  4. What would you change about the situation?
  5. If you were able to change the situation, how would you feel now?
  6. What needed to be different in order for you to be happy?
  7. What is it that you would want to experience instead?

Now ask yourself

  • Did I deserve this?
  • Do I deserve to be free from this?
  • Can I forgive them?
  • Can I forgive myself?
  • Do I now have the power to release this?
  • Do I deserve to be happy and move beyond this?
  • What did I learn from this person or situation?

Mirror

  • Was this person mirroring something back to me that I was doing to them or to others?
  • Have I ever treated someone the way they treated me?
  • Is this something I would like to change about myself?

New response

  • In the past, I reacted to this person or situation like this…
  • Now I will respond like this…

Focus the session: Choose to forgive. Complete the sentences below.

  • I choose to forgive them for…
  • I choose to forgive myself for…
  • I now allow myself to move on from this because…
  • I am now free from this because…

Now take a moment to be with this feeling of freedom. How do you feel now? What has changed?

Create an action plan: What action are you willing to take to change behavior and response in the future? Write it down.

The Truth is Inside You! Look Within…

According to an ancient legend, there was a time when ordinary people had all the access to the knowledge of the gods. Yet, even with this access, time and again they ignored this wisdom. One day the gods grew tired of so freely giving this unused gift to the people that they decided to hide this precious wisdom where only the most committed of seekers would discover it. They believed that if people had to work to find this wisdom, they would use it more carefully. One of the gods suggested they bury it deep within the earth. “No,” the other said, “too many people could easily dig down and find it.” Then another one of the gods suggested, “Let’s put it in the deepest ocean,” but that idea was also rejected. They knew that people would one day learn to dive and thus would find it too easily. One of the gods then suggested hiding it on the highest mountaintop, but it was quickly agreed that people could climb mountains. Finally, one of the wisest gods suggested hiding it deep inside the people themselves. They’ll never think to look there. And so it came to be.

ANTS Transforming Automatic Negative Thoughts

The ANTS exercise can help us see what negative thoughts we may have. These thoughts can stop us or block us from getting what we want. Transform the negative thoughts into positive thoughts.

Automatic negative thoughts (ANTS) are the thoughts a person might have right after a great idea. These thoughts can limit us and hold us back from taking action. For example: “I would like to get a better job, but I don’t have the education.” Or, “I would like to start my own business, and I have all of these great ideas, but I don’t have enough money.” Instead of focusing on how you are going to make it happen, focus on what you can do right now.

What we say is a direct response to what we are thinking. Our words are very important also. For example: “don’t forget” vs. “remember.” One might say, “I can’t forget to take out the trash.” What your subconscious mind is hearing is can’t and forget and trash. Studies show that we are more likely to remember something if we use positive words. Instead, we could say, “I need to remember to take out the trash.” Another example that I see all too often. Standing in line at the grocery store and the cashier says, “How are you?” Often I hear people respond with, “I’m not bad.” So in this way, they are responding with a negative thought. Instead, we could say, “I’m doing fine” or “I’m great.” Also, the original question was how you were not how you were not.

Our thoughts, feelings, and actions have a lot to do with what we attract into our lives and create what we experience. The average human has over 60,000 thoughts per day. Although we can’t possibly monitor all of them, we can at least be more conscious of them. Fortunately, we have the ability to change our thought pattern. This does not happen overnight, this is something that needs nurturing and will take time, but eventually, with effort and consistency, you can get there.

Preparation: Have your journal ready to take notes.

One Minute Meditation: Take a moment to relax, take a few deep breaths and center yourself.

Begin the Exercise: Draw a line down the center of the page. On the top left write, “ANTS,” and on the right side write, “POSITIVE THOUGHT.”

Begin by looking at the ANTS column. Note any and all negative thoughts you might have about yourself, a situation, a person, or anything.

Powerful questions:

What negative thoughts have you had recently?

What makes you think you can’t do that?

What are some negative thoughts that you may have about yourself?

What are some negative thoughts you have had about someone else recently?

What are some negative thoughts you have had about a situation recently?

Keep writing until you can’t think of anymore.

Focus and transform: Now transform them…

Look at the Positive Thought column and transform the negative thoughts into positive thoughts. Most times it is the opposite of the negative thought. How do these new thoughts make you feel?

For example, in the ANTS column, you may have written, “I have no energy.” The positive thought would be, “I have an abundant amount of energy.” If this seems unbelievable to you, you could write, “I want more energy, ” or, “I will find a way to start having more energy.”

Speaking in positive terms:

Now that you have the tools to consciously change your thoughts, are you willing to speak more in positive terms? Are you willing to speak more about what you do want not what you don’t want? Are you willing to speak more about what you can do, and less about what you can’t do?

Create an action plan: What action are you willing to take? How will you begin to remove the ANTS in your life? Write it down. Take action!

A Powerful Coach will ask Powerful Questions

A Life Coach knows that asking questions is the most powerful way to get to the core of a coaching session. Questions are your most useful tool. Some clients may be used to being told what to do and how to do it, while others feel they are expected to already know everything on their own. When it comes to figuring out things for themselves, clients like these may not know how to and this may cause them to remain co-dependent. This is a very common learned behavior. Asking clients questions begins to reprogram the old conditioning and will get them to start thinking for themselves, to really get their wheels turning. The coach will also know when to ask deeper questions.

Imagine your client just said, “When I think of being out on my own, I feel scared.” This is a great opportunity to deepen the questions by asking, “Why do you think that makes you feel scared?”

Imagine your client says, “I get so angry when he tells me what to do all the time.” Here you could say, “Why do you get so angry?”

As a coach, it is important to feel confident enough to keep asking deeper questions. The more you do this, the faster you will get to the root of the problem and onto a solution and action plan.

“The Tracker” Spiritual Messages and Life Coaching

A few weeks ago… I was noticing all the different animal tracks on the trail. Wondering what their purpose was during the time when they were at that exact location. Then I sat down to make some crafts (my office in nature) and pulled a card for the day. Of course it would be “Tracker.” The message is to stay focused on one goal and not to scatter myself in too many directions. So I imagined what would be the one thing I would want to focus on today and it was to make sure my boat was pointed downstream. Not upstream, padding hard to get through the day, but to remember in each moment to throw the oars over the boat and let my thoughts, feelings and actions float gently down the stream. Not as easy at it may seem but I managed. Noticing all the synchronicities. When one thing didn’t work out there was a reason or there was something better shortly ahead. Wondering what one thing the animals were each focused on. They never try to force anything. Great lesson here.

Exercise: Write down everything you want to do. Then narrow it down to one thing that you could focus your attention on.

I just want to say now… a few weeks later I am totally focused and have already completed a huge project! Launching all my online training courses. Done!

Do you have Healthy Boundaries? A Life Coaching Exercise within the Shamanic Life Coach Certification Course

Personal boundaries are the limits and rules we set for ourselves within relationships. A person with healthy boundaries can say “no” to others when they want to, but they are also comfortable opening themselves up to intimacy and close relationships. A person who always keeps others at a distance (whether emotionally, physically, or otherwise) is said to have rigid boundaries. Alternatively, someone who tends to get too involved with others has poor boundaries. Also keep in mind that having poor boundaries is also a form of giving your power away.

Healthy Boundaries:

  • Values own opinions.
  • Doesn’t compromise values for others.
  • Shares personal information in an appropriate way (does not over or under share).
  • Knows personal wants and needs, and can communicate them.
  • Accepting when others say “no” to them.

Poor Boundaries:

  • Overshares personal information.
  • Difficulty saying “no” to the requests of others.
  • Over involved with other’s problems.
  • Dependent on the opinions of others.
  • Accepting of abuse or disrespect.
  • Fears rejection if they do not comply with others.

Rigid Boundaries:

  • Avoids intimacy and close relationships.
  • Unlikely to ask for help.
  • Has few close relationships.
  • Very protective of personal information.
  • May seem detached, even with romantic partners.
  • Keeps others at a distance to avoid the possibility of rejection.

Most people have a mix of different boundary types. For example, someone could have healthy boundaries at work, poor boundaries in romantic relationships, and a mix of all three types with their family. The appropriateness of boundaries depends on the setting. What’s appropriate to say when you’re out with friends might not be appropriate when you’re at work. Some cultures have very different expectations when it comes to boundaries. For example, in some cultures it’s considered wildly inappropriate to express emotions publicly. In other cultures, emotional expression is encouraged.

Preparation: Have your journal ready to take notes.

One Minute Meditation: Take a moment to relax, take a few deep breaths and center yourself.

Begin Exercise: Ask yourself the following questions…

Think about a person with whom you struggle to set healthy boundaries. This could mean that your boundaries are too rigid (you keep your distance), too poor (you open up too much), or there’s some other problem that isn’t so easily labeled. Who do you struggle to set healthy boundaries with?

Boundary Categories: What categories would you choose to describe your relationship with this person you listed above?

  • Physical Boundaries
  • Intellectual Boundaries
  • Emotional Boundaries
  • Sexual Boundaries
  • Material Boundaries
  • Time Boundaries

Take a moment to imagine what it will be like when you begin to establish healthy boundaries with this person.

  1. What are some specific actions you can take to improve your boundaries with this person?
  2. How do you think they will respond to these changes?
  3. How do you think your life will be different once you’ve established healthy boundaries with this person?

Focus: What was the most significant part about this session?

Create an action plan: What action are you willing to take? Write it down.

life coaching trustAs we are coming into a new age of human evolution, we are being taught to trust and let go of control. We don’t have to struggle anymore. That is the old way. We don’t have to try and control our environment and situations either. Its time to relax into the unknown. Let go of the fear that has held us back, let go of the worry, anxiety, and pain. When something doesn’t seem to go “our way,” there is a reason. Surrender, follow the path of least resistance and practice the law of least effort. It seems that everything is going to happen the way it does no matter what we do. It’s as if our life story is already written for us before we got here. The more we try to control it, and struggle against each moment, we are just setting ourselves back from receiving true happiness and joy. Many people live most of there lives stuck in the same situation, usually unhappy and too scared to try and change. Because to change, we would have to get out of our comfort zone and that makes us uncomfortable. Its easier to stay locked in place and continue to be unhappy.

If we decide today to embrace change, surrender and go with the flow, we will begin to see how beautiful and magical life really is. Its like taking off a mask that we’ve wore for so many years. It’s okay to change, and it’s okay to trust that everything will unfold perfectly. Look for the “silver lining” in every moment, situation, and person. When we begin to look for the positive in everything, then that is what we will attract to us. Be grateful for what you have, and show appreciation for it in what ever way you can.

There is a force in the universe, which, if we permit it, will flow through us and provide miraculous results. The key is to apply this knowledge in the moment. The more we practice it, the better we get at it. Begin today to let go and trust that there is a higher purpose for us, and that all discomfort is just a part of the process of finding our path. What goals do you have for 2013? What did you want to accomplish last year and didn’t get to?
It’s never too late to start or finish.

Here is a powerful coaching tool that can help you get clear on your goals and create motivation to accomplish them.
Set about an hour aside of clear uninterrupted time. Clear your thoughts and center yourself…
1. Write what you would like to do, have, be, or accomplish in 2013. Keep writing until you run out of thoughts.
2. Narrow them down to your top three and prioritize them.
3. Separate each of your goals on their own piece of paper. Set a realistic date you would like to accomplish it by.
4. Start with your first goal; Write the details of this goal, then write down “why” you want to accomplish it. Now take a minute to visualize already having this goal and what it feels like.

Note that we didn’t look at “how” this is going to happen. We just focus on what we want and how it feels to already have it. Along the way, as you continue to take action, you will start to notice people, situations and new doors opening up to support you on this goal.
Be patient and don’t force the goal to happen. Instead, allow it to unfold spontaneously and watch each piece of the puzzle put itself in place as the bigger picture begins to appear.

Remind yourself often of your “why.” Why are you doing this? This is the fuel that keeps your flame of passion burning, and will illuminate your dreams and goals to manifest into your life. In order to fulfill a dream or a goal, we have to stretch out of our comfort zone. We have to be realistic, persistent, and consistent. Make sure to acknowledge how far you have come already, this expression of gratitude for yourself is a huge piece of this grand puzzle.

Once you move forward in any direction – even the wrong one – you will be pulled into the flow of forward-moving energy.  You will be guided to the right people and opportunities. You will become part of a vortex of positive energy that moves you into the right place at the right time. Forward action takes a life of its own.

There’s another component to taking action. When you make phone calls to research a new direction, meet with someone to discuss an idea or do research on the internet, you’re sending a message to the universe that you’re moving forward. Even if you are not researching the exact right direction, you energy will attract opportunities that will guide you in the right direction. Opportunities that will pull you toward your destined work. Our higher guides aren’t allowed to interfere with us because of “free will”, but once we start moving forward they can open doors.

Inaction, sitting at home, worrying or being unhappy will not open any doors. You must take a step forward in a new direction, even if it’s closing an old door, then doors will open….”

Does it bother you when someone cuts you off in traffic, says something to hurt your feelings, does not hold up to their word, or any other event of this type…

TWO MONKS & A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN

a river where a beautifully dressed woman was
standing.

As she did not want to ruin her lovely clothes, she
asked them to carry her to the other side. The two
monks glanced at one another because they had
taken vows not to touch a woman.

Then, without a word, the older monk picked up the
woman, carried her across the river, placed her
gently on the other side, and carried on his
journey.

The younger monk couldn’t believe what had just
happened. After rejoining his companion, he was
speechless, and an hour passed without a word
between them.

Two more hours passed, then three, finally the
younger monk could contain himself no longer,
and blurted out “How could you do that, when you
made a vow not to even touch a woman!”

The older monk looked at him and replied, “Oh, are
you still carrying her? I put her down hours ago.”

We are the only species on this planet with free will, lets use it to our advantage! Choose the life you want.

Life Coaching – Communicating from Within

Life Coach Quiet ListeningThere are three places that we can come  from when we are communicating with others, or making decisions.

1. Head, from this place we may be trying to rationalize situations, use intellect, process, analyze, and react. This is great for use in business.

2. Heart, When we are in our hearts, we are connecting, expressing love, compassion, sensitivity,  and sympathy. Sometimes it can be difficult to make decisions from the heart because we may be too sensitive or emotional and it could get in the way. This is great for use with loved ones.

3. Knowing, this is the place just below or behind our navel, our center, our gut feeling, also called our place of “chi”, and life source. This is where we go when we are seeking answers from within. Here we can only experience the truth of all things, a knowing of who we really are, why we are here, and how we can best serve all of humanity. From here we are able to respond to situations rather that react. It’s almost a sense of being in the present.

Our knowing is also the place where we receive goose bumps during a chilling situation or conversation. These are actually “Truth Bumps.” We can know, that when this happens, Spirit is present.

Exercise: Pause for a moment, count to five, take a couple of deep breaths and get centered. Then ask yourself which one of these three place are your current thoughts and decisions comming from. By doing this exercise several times throughout your day, you may find that your thoughts and decisioins will be more in alignment with your wants and desires.
