I’m sure you have herd of a “vision board,” but have you herd of a “gratitude board?” There is a huge difference here, let me explain. For almost a year and a half I had a vision board full of all the things I wanted, a new car, more money, eat healthier, start my workshops, etc. As I focused on these things they started to happen, of course the law of attraction is always working. But as I was so focused on these things, I allowed it to distract me from being grateful for what I already had. My home, my partner, my children, spending time together, becoming a better parent. These things weren’t on my board. So my focus was not on being grateful for what I already had, I was more concerned about what I didn’t have. I always wanted more, or better. While it’s okay to want to better yourself, it is even more important to be grateful for what you already have. I won’t go into detail here, but the things I cherished the most, began to disappear. By focusing on what you don’t have, you will create more of what you don’t have. I took for granted what I had. Don’t let this happen to you, make sure to include on your vision board things you already have that you are grateful for.
