Forgiveness Can Set You Free!

Forgiveness

This is one of the amazing lessons within the Life Coach Training Certification

The Forgiveness exercise can help you realize who or what you may need to forgive so that you can move forward in life free from emotional pain and sadness. This exercise will teach you ultimately to have a clearer conscious and subconscious mind.

Forgiveness can be the most powerful tool to release you from any emotional pain that you may have been carrying. Sometimes emotional wounds from the past hold us back and we can’t break free of the feeling of hurt or loss. Even though we may not always feel it, these feelings still lie dormant in our cell memory. Eventually, the universe gives us an opportunity where feelings resurface. When this happens we can choose to ignore them or face them. If we try to ignore them and continue to suppress, hoping they will just go away, they will always come back. When this happens, we can allow them to come back again as problems, or we can look at them coming back as another chance for forgiveness. If we face them head on, look them in the eyes and tell the truth to ourselves, then we have more of a chance to remove at least the feeling associated with old emotions. After that, we can let go and finally be free of the pain.

There are several powerful ways to forgive yourself and others. It is only when you choose to do this, that you will truly be free and be more open to receiving the abundance that is waiting for you.

Preparation:  Have your journal to take notes.

One Minute Meditation: Take a moment to relax, take a few deep breaths and center yourself.

Begin the Session: Begin by thinking about someone or something that happened to you recently or in the past that made you angry, frustrated, or upset. This could also be something you did or didn’t do. Now read each question below. Take your time answering them and take notes.

  1. Who or what made you upset?
  2. How did it make you feel?
  3. How would you want them to change?
  4. What would you change about the situation?
  5. If you were able to change the situation, how would you feel now?
  6. What needed to be different in order for you to be happy?
  7. What is it that you would want to experience instead?

Now ask yourself

  • Did I deserve this?
  • Do I deserve to be free from this?
  • Can I forgive them?
  • Can I forgive myself?
  • Do I now have the power to release this?
  • Do I deserve to be happy and move beyond this?
  • What did I learn from this person or situation?

Mirror

  • Was this person mirroring something back to me that I was doing to them or to others?
  • Have I ever treated someone the way they treated me?
  • Is this something I would like to change about myself?

New response

  • In the past, I reacted to this person or situation like this…
  • Now I will respond like this…

Focus the session: Choose to forgive. Complete the sentences below.

  • I choose to forgive them for…
  • I choose to forgive myself for…
  • I now allow myself to move on from this because…
  • I am now free from this because…

Now take a moment to be with this feeling of freedom. How do you feel now? What has changed?

Create an action plan: What action are you willing to take to change behavior and response in the future? Write it down.

This adventure is in Sedona at Cathedral Rock or Canyon Moon Ranch. Follow the trail upstream until you reach hundreds of rock spires. The local people are the ones who sculpted this art, they are called prayer spires becaue each rock carries a prayer for the one who creates it. It is very common to see these throughout Sedona. They can also be trail markers.

Medicine Wheel Ceremony Sedona

Posted on

Experience a real Native American medicine wheel ceremony at one of Sedona’s most sacred sites.
At the Medicine Wheel we give thanks for all that we have, and to show gratitude and appreciation for the animals, the four directions, the natural elements, Spirit, Mother Earth, Father Sky, and all of nature. We drum and sing a special Native American song for forgiveness to release any fear, anger, and resentment that may be blocking you from feeling inner peace.

oak creek canyon SedonaAfter this ceremony you will feel more balanced and a deeper connection to nature. Some claim to feel a light tingling sensation. This is a result of raising your energy vibration of love.

Then we take a scenic drive to one of Sedona’s most relaxing female vortexes down by the calming and healing waters of Oak Creek. Here we do a releasing ceremony, meditation, and Shamanic Journey to meet your ancestors and connect with your animal spirit guides. During the meditation we cast all of our burdens and worries into the water, and watch them float down the stream. Then we look upstream to fill ourselves with love, light and abundance. We do a smudge-sage clearing and blessing to cleanse our bodies, energies, and spirit. We also do a distant clearing to bless our families, friends, homes, workplaces, vehicles and travels. We set the intention of freedom and learn to use Eagle Medicine to light our path. Here we also discover your totem animals. We ask for guidance from them and receive powerful messages.

Turtle Messages

Posted on

Just the other day I experienced turtle medicine. I was at the creek relaxing when I went to the shore and I saw a turtle head poking out from under the grass. I came up from behind it and picked it up and played with it for a few minutes then released it back into the water. As I set it down in front of me, it just kept all tucked in its shell. But if I got still enough, it would poke its head out. I think the message here for me was to become still and observe. This can mean many different thing for us depending on what we are going through in our lives at the time. This was the message I needed at this time. Thank you Turtle!

Turtle teaches us to be careful in new situations and to be patient in reaching our goals. Turtle also teaches us to take things slow, for it gives us time to figure out if we need to protect our self or forge ahead. Turtle shows up in our lives when we need to go into shell and wait until our thoughts & ideas are ready to be expressed. He also teaches us to be adaptable to our environment so we can find the harmony within it.

Sedona Vortex Tour ~ What is a Vortex?

Posted on

What is a vortex?

Here’s my best description…

I’ve been doing vortex tours in Sedona since 2006. I have read many books and listen to several talks and lectures on the subject. I have worked for several tour companies, some large, some privately owned, all great. I have had several shaman teachers that all gave me some insight to vortexes, Where they are, how to find them, what type of a vortex it was, etc.

When I am out on tour, the things I get asked the most from visitors is, “Where is the vortex?” They are looking for a spiral shaped formation that is supposed to be coming out of the ground. At least that is what they look like on the local “to do” maps. Some of the “New Age” folks in Sedona may refer to them as vortices.

The truth is, you can’t see a vortex at all, it is something you feel. It is a place where the energy is more concentrate and can easily be manipulated to heal faster or create more of something in your life. When I was about six or seven years old we lived in Oregon and one day my mother decided to take my brother and sister and I to this place called, “The House of Mystery.” This house was built on a vortex site. After traveling for about two hours down this dirt road with huge green trees on both sides we finally arrived at this little house built on the side of this hill. I was so excited to see what the buzz was all about that I jumped out of the car before it was even stopped.

An immediate disappointment and now a deeper sense of curiosity consumed me because they were closed. We did look around a bit though and I could feel some interesting things happening to my body. I literally had to walk at a slant to keep from falling over. I also noticed that some of the plants in the beautiful garden were growing funny. The leaves would grow upside down and some of them looked like they were inside out. Okay that was strange, but my brother heard that if you pour water out in a steady stream it would fall at a slight slant to the ground, so we tried it and it did! Wish we had more water because that was fun. Shortly after that we moved back to Arizona and have never been able to return since.

They say that the veils between the physical and spiritual worlds are very thin. Because of this we are able to find more clarity, get answers, find our purpose, get in touch with our spiritual guides and an overall clear direction in life.

Just as our bodies have energy meridian lines that connect to each of our organs, the earth has ley lines that connect to these power centers all over the planet. Yes, there are vortex “hot spots” all over the planet. Some of which I know are in Peru, Hawaii, Egypt, Stonehenge, Bermuda Triangle, and Airs mountain in Australia. These power centers could be felt by the indigenous and they know there was something special about these locations. Each one is used for similar reasons; prayer, healing, manifesting, etc.

There are 5 main vortex sites in Sedona (depending on where you get your information from). Airport Mesa is a very masculine vortex, Indian Gardens vortex is very feminine, Boynton Canyon and Cathedral are balanced and very neutral. Bell Rock is also a balanced vortex. Really all of Sedona is one big vortex and there are several hot spots that the energy is more powerful. My favorite is a balanced vortex at the Wiand Tunnel Caves.

Juniper trees in the area are very sensitive to the vortex energies and tend to spiral and twist as they grow. Some say that the more twisted the juniper is, the closer you are to the hot spot. Also, within my shaman studies they say that the Juniper is one of the highest vibrations of tree. This must explain why they are so affected by the energy. The Juniper is also a powerful healing tree; you can pull so much energy from them. I know of where four healing junipers are. One at the Wind Tunnel Caves, one at the Hopi mound in Boynton Canyon, one along Upper Loop Rd and one at Airport Mesa. When I tell people about these trees they want to touch them and sit in them for hours.

Masculine and Femenine?
Masculine vortexes work with the physical body as feminine may work more with the non-physical, emotional self. At a balanced vortex you may not feel anything but immediate bliss. Masculine vortexes are also magnetic, empowering, and represent strength through action. Feminine vortexes are electric, calming, relaxing, and represent the wise and intuitive inner voice.

We all have masculine and feminine energies within us. The key to understanding more about ourselves is to know how to balance these energies.

Everything is Amplified!
Yes, that is exactly what I mean, everything is amplified and everything happens much faster here in Sedona. I didn’t know why I was guided to move here until I got here.

Sacred Land
The indigenous tribes that settled in the area did not live right in the heart of Sedona which is the Telaqepaque, uptown, and west Sedona area. They all lived on the outskirts of Sedona. This is obvious because you won’t find many ruins in the main parts, but you will find several caves, pit houses, and other dwellings all around Sedona. I figure because the Shaman of the tribe was the first one to listen to the land before settling there. The shaman was the member of the tribe that could talk to the land, and was very in-tune with nature and could bring messages from Great Spirit. They knew that this particular part of Sedona was “Great Spirits” land and should only be used for healing, prayer, and ceremony, and they should not live there.

Today, over fifty percent of Sedona’s population resides in the exact place that the indigenous knew knot to live.

Powerful energy
Living in Sedona is not easy, I know from experience. I’ve lived here since February 2009 and boy has it been a roller coaster ride! I was born in Cottonwood just twenty miles from Sedona and raised in the “Verde Valley.” Yes, I’m a local native, but I have also lived in Oregon, California, Oklahoma, Nevada, and Florida . On my fathers side I am Blackfoot and Crow from the North West, and on my mothers side I am Seminole from the south east. Even though I can’t prove it, most people can tell by my strong facial features and naturally tan skin.

I was living in Prescott, just an hour away when I was urged to move here. I had been there for eight years previously. I didn’t just pack up and go, I put up a fight and resisted it for nearly two years! Well finally, I gave in because it was all over the TV, magazines, and everywhere I looked.

The people
Most of the people that live in Sedona were called to move here by a strong inner voice and not just because of it beauty. They feel a deeper calling or connection to this magical place.

Shamans Stones – Master Shamanite

Posted on

Master_Shamanite_Healing_Crystal_Shamanic_JourneySHAMANITE -Rare North American Black Calcite

Master Shamanite is the name given to a carbon-infused Black Calcite from the Rocky Mountains of the USA. It contains many trace minerals & micro-fossils.
Mystic Lore – Intuitive sources say that Master Shamanite is the finest stone for spiritual purification and the emergence of one’s Diamond Self, the perfected pattern of one’s being. It carries the spiritual codes of DNA, for manifesting one’s full potential in the physical world. It aids in clearing all sorts of negativity & in awakening to one’s spiritual destiny as the human Tree of Life.

Metaphysical Legends & Attributes of Shamanite Warm to the skin, Shamanite emanates a protective and positive ancestral vibration. Paleozoic spiral shells captivate the lapidary imagination, and sparkling pyrites, crystals and marcasites generate a distinctive EM field. Tribal medicine people and Singers from the Four Corners region have verified this material is known to them as a protective stone, and carries with it the power to heal spiritual wounds, ancestral troubles and grief. Small nuggets of the smoky brown Shamanite called Toho (Mountain Lion) have been used as protective amulets for Indian children in the past. Within a few years of its discovery by the modern world, Shamanite has been recognized, employed and praised by crystal healers, psychics, therapists and artists in Japan, North America, Britain and Europe. Today, it is on the Top 10 Power Stones list by Japanese spiritual and shamanic crystal healers.

Metaphysical attributes include: Shielding the wearer from psychic attack, envy and the resentment of others Absorbs negativity Purifying; strengthens resistance Deepens trancework Assists with broken hearts, grief and mourning lost loves. Remembering past lives, submerged memories and critical karmic lessons.

Personal comments about Shamanite:

“Strong circles of power come from the heart of this stone. Very deep spiritual protection from the Old Ones for those with no voice. I’ve heard about Toho stones used in fetish carvings; but, have never seen one before now.”

“Remarkable. The little Shamanite dolphin smolders with warmth. Placed upon a closed chakra, it behaves as a energy key — opening and healing. The large specimen is cool, like a cave opening, and draws me into the far-distant past. ”

“My grandmother had one of these black mountain stones to soak up the bad thoughts of others … like sorcery, jealousy or envy. She took it with her. I cleanse with this stone now before Blessing Way and Enemy Way sings for those in trouble. It is good.”

“Something wonderful glows from this Shamanite. An Earth angel. Past lives, lost memories and Karma patterns can be sensed by the querant…best with the eyes closed.”

“No one believes until they hold it (polished slab) close to their heart. In every case, a Mountain Spirit or Deva appears and brings a message from Spirit. Thanks again.”

“Shamanite has triggered very detailed ancestral DNA and past-life memories … essential for my art. Clients who come for divinations are touched by Shamanite’s deep-level help with grief and old karma stories.”

We consider this one of the strongest Power Stones. Shiyamanaito (Shamanite) helps a person with their helplessness or feelings of grief. Close your eyes when using it. There is help from infinite outer space within it…it will bring a miracle.
